Our story
From the dry plains of the Deccan
Ashwagandha is the root of Withania somnifera, gathered from the dry, sandy plains of central India. The roots are washed, shade-dried and stone-milled to a fine powder. For centuries it has been stirred into warm milk as part of a slow evening ritual — a grounding way to end the day, not a medicine.
